Day Three - Another Day at Wheal Maid

Luckily for our tired and weary bodies it didn’t rain one the third and final day and we even got some sunshine, which looked great adding some golden colours for the final scene.

Josie had another set to build, this time Nelly and Tim’s shack, which looked amazing. Despite being made from junk, it was full of colour and character. A great set piece for the end of the film.

Because we had only two scenes it didn’t feel like a rushed day (well not for me anyway) which was nice as it also happened to be my birthday. Official film baker, Tom Phillips, made a lovely spicy apple cake and everyone sang Happy Birthday to me during lunch, which was very lovely of them.

So yeah the filming went great. Thank you to the whole cast and crew who were amazing, the film rushes already look great thanks to their hard work. And a big thank you to Jessica Morris, our stills photographer!

I now have a lovely couple of weeks editing the film together and allow my Sound Mixer, Jon, to add a sound mix and then it will be ready for screenings.
